Over 30 years in FMCG markets, operating on both the manufacturers’ and retailers’ side, nationally and internationally. After graduating with a degree in Economics and Statistics in 1987, he held the growing roles of Marketing and Sales in leading food companies such as Aia, Barilla (for 13 years) Arena and Unichips, and had experience as general manager at Gruppo Fini, a private equity owned company. Starting in spring 2009, he held the position of Commercial Director at Conad, responsible for the areas of Purchasing, Private Label, Supply Chain, and International, and then in October 2018 he took on the new role of General Manager of Operations, which includes the Marketing departments (Offering, Channel, CRM, Customers, and Communication), in addition to the above-mentioned areas. He is a member of the board of directors of AgeCore – a Swiss-based cooperative of four major European retailers (Conad, Eroski, Colruyt and Coop Suisse), Co.Ind., an Italian cooperative operating in the coffee and personal care sector, and Conad Adriatico and Conad CentroNord Cooperatives. In addition, he was from 2016 to 2019, president of CPR, a market operating company, a cooperative alliance between fruit and vegetable producers and major Italian retailers. Following an experience in Australia, she became Global Marketing Director for the Philadelphia brand in 2004, subsequently leading the Marketing department of the Italian Grocery Division. In 2011, she was appointed Marketing Director for Southern Europe in the Grocery category, overseeing Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece, before becoming General Manager of Fattorie Osella. In 2015, she took on the role of General Manager for Mondelez International Italy and Greece in the snacks division, eventually assuming the position of CEO for the entire Group across both divisions in May 2020. |

An honors graduate, he has attended training programs at prestigious business schools. Currently CEO of Perfetti Van Melle Italy, he has led the company to consolidated sales of 640 million euros. From January 2014 to June 2018, he led Perfetti Van Melle GIDA in Istanbul, directing commercial and industrial operations, supervising more than 1,100 people and 3 production plants. From 2011-2013, as International Marketing Director in Amsterdam, he managed global strategies. Having earned his degree in Economics and Business, he embarked on his professional journey in the realm of International Marketing within several esteemed German companies. In 1996, he became a part of cameo s.p.a., an Italian subsidiary of the renowned German conglomerate, Dr. Oetker. His journey led him back to Germany, the heart of the company, where he assumed diverse roles spanning the frozen and ambient food divisions. Upon his return to Italy and cameo, he took charge of spearheading the newly established deep-frozen pizza venture. He makes an important contribution to initiate in Italy the improvement of negotiating relationships by applying homogeneity and transparency of sales conditions and promoting the establishment of the Observatory of Industry-Distribution Relations under the sponsorship of Bocconi. Born in 1963, Massimo Ebelli gained his first professional experience in 1987 in FINIPER, a historic company in the large-scale retail trade, initially holding the position of hypermarket manager. He spent 12 years in sales and his managerial predisposition led him to take on roles of greater responsibility over time. In 2000, he began a new professional challenge by joining the Agorà Network team. That was the year of the founding of this new company, which immediately distinguished itself from the rest of the market by proposing a unique model in the Italian distribution scenario. Ebelli contributes to the achievement of important company goals, taking on ever-increasing responsibilities. After the initial phase, he started with the role of Private Brand Manager (from 2004 to 2008) and then moved on to Sales and Marketing Management (from 2008 to 2020). In January 2021, he was appointed General Manager of Agora Network, also maintaining the commercial direction. At the same time, he is a member of the Commercial Committee of ESD Italia, the Italian Central Purchasing Agency grouping the brands Selex, Acqua & Sapone, Agorà Network and Aspiag Service. |

Since 2021, Filippo Fabbri has been General Manager of Despar Italia, a consortium that brings together under the Despar brand six distribution companies and affiliated retailers present in 17 Italian regions with 1404 shops. Born in Milan in 1966, Filippo Fabbri holds a degree in Business Economics from the Bocconi University of Milan with a specialisation in Marketing. During his career, he has gained extensive experience in the world of FMCG and Retail. He began his career at Seagram where he worked in marketing with increasing responsibility. In 1998 he joined Metro Cash & Carry, where he held various roles in Italy and abroad, later joining the Metro Italia board as Food Procurement & Merchandising Director. He then took on the role of Purchasing and Marketing Director at the Argenta Group, a private equity-owned company. In 2014, he joined the Granarolo S.p.A. business unit dedicated to traditional retail and HO.RE.CA as Purchasing and Marketing Director. From 2017 to 2021, he served as Product Director for Freschi e Freschissimi at Auchan Retail Italia. Currently, as representative of Despar Italia, he is a member of the Executive Committee of Federdistribuzione and of the Board of Directors of ADM and GS1. |

Enrico Galasso is CEO of Birra Peroni, an Italian company part of the Asahi Holding group. Born in 1972, he has had 20 years of experience in the FMCG world. He began his experience with IBM in the U.S., before graduating in Management Engineering, then continued his career in the U.K. at Procter & Gamble and then returned to Italy to work for Bain&Co, Italy’s leading strategic consulting firm. Later for Ferrero, he held management roles in the Marketing and Sales areas in Italy. In 2012 he joined Coca Cola HBC Italy and after gaining expertise in the different sales channels, he took on the role of Sales Director. Then in Reckitt Benckiser where he comes to hold the role of General Manager of the Central Eastern Europe cluster, based in Budapest. Galasso, a Roman father of two, is an avid traveling photographer and runs marathons to balance his passion for good food and good beer. |

Mario Gasbarrino graduated in mathematics and began his career immediately after his university studies, working as a buyer for Gruppo GS until 1987. In the same year, he moved to Catania to work in Sigros Spa, leader company in the Sicilian modern distribution as Director of Purchasing, until 1990. After the acquisition of Sigros by Rinascente, he returned to Milan in 1991 and spent his entire career in the Group, where over the years he held many roles: Purchasing Director of Sma Supermarkets (until 1994); General Manager of the Migliarini Group (a company acquired by Rinascente) from 1994 to 1996; Director of the Supermarkets Division of the Sma Group from 1996 to 1998; Managing Director of Punto Franchising Sma (a sales network with more than 1350 sales outlets throughout the country) until 2005. From 2006 to September 2019 he was Chairman and Managing Director of Unes Supermercati. Today, he is CEO of Decò Italia (a company owned by Multicedi and Arena Group to develop and manage the Private Brands of the two groups) and sits on the Board of Directors of Everton spa (tea and infusions) and Cortilia spa (online commerce), where he serves as Chief Strategy Officer. |

Throughout his career, he has worked across various business divisions with both local and global responsibilities in Italy, the UK, Slovenia, the Netherlands, and Poland. With over 26 years of international experience, gained through operational and strategic roles in Frankfurt Stock Exchange-listed companies across diverse industries—from automotive to fashion, and finally cosmetics—Grassano-Rauch has developed expertise in sales, brand development, marketing, and digital media. She has consistently driven the growth of global brands, contributing to their ongoing success. Grassano-Rauch joined Beiersdorf in 2001, where she held various roles within the Global Marketing Team, contributing to the worldwide development of the NIVEA and Labello brands. She eventually advanced to the position of Vice President Marketing Europe & North America. In this role, Grassano-Rauch played a pivotal part in establishing Beiersdorf’s Europe & NA Region, helping to design a new organizational structure for the company, fostering the integration of different countries, and driving their digital transformation through a visionary and highly inclusive leadership model. |

Giangiacomo Ibba graduated at the age of 24 in Business Administration at the University of Parma with a thesis on Distribution and focus on CRAI, a Group in which he had been working since his youth. Therefore began his long experience in the Food Retail field. His determination and strong passion will lead him to cover numerous managerial positions. In 2002 at just 26 years old, firmly believing in CRAI’s proximity model, he founded the CRAI Sardinia Consortium, taking over its presidency. In 2003 he became President of Fratelli Ibba, beginning a path of growth that has led the company to be a reference among the most important Sardinian and large-scale retail companies, counting more than 300 stores and a turnover of more than 750 million euros. Numbers that account for the commitment of a large family of about 1,200 people and a total induced activity of more than 2,000. Since 2009 he became President of Crai Cooperativa, already partner of Fratelli Ibba since 1989, and in September 2022, he has assumed the role of CEO of the company. In the meantime, in 2009 he was also appointed Chairman of Crai Tirreno Spa and in 2016 Chairman of Leader Price Italia Spa, now under the name of Food 5.0 Srl. In June 2022, he was named CEO of Crai Secom S.p.A., a historical reality in the large-scale retail sector. Specialised in convenience stores, it has a network of more than 3,200 stores throught the country. He has successfully managed multifunctional teams, demonstrating leadership skills in implementing turnaround strategies. In Morocco, he led a team of 1,300 people. In Portugal, he experienced significant growth, achieving a 40% increase in profits. As Category Marketing Director in Spain, he helped stabilize the top line and improve margins. His path with Danone was marked by innovative launches and reinforcement of brand equity campaigns. Antonio holds degrees in Marketing from LUISS University in Rome and ESCP Paris, with a master’s degree in International Management from Amsec (Paris & Rome). Lavazza, founded in Turin in 1895, is an Italian manufacturer of coffee products, owned by Lavazza family. After a degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing from Bocconi University in Milan, Mara Panajia, a Calabrian by origin and Milanese by adoption, began her career at Danone where she worked for 5 years, from 1995 to 2000, dealing with management control and then marketing. She joined Henkel in 2000 as Brand Manager for the Laundry Care Local Marketing unit and then became Marketing Manager and Marketing Director Laundry Care, positions she held for 7 years. This is the period in which Mara Panajia lays the foundation for her growth within the company. In fact, she then became Marketing Director Laundry & Home Care Italy, Greece and Cyprus, a position she held for 4 years from 2008 to 2012, and then in the sales area in Italy, where she remained until March 2014. It was in 2014 that the big opportunity arrived at Henkel’s German headquarters in Düsseldorf, where she held the position of Corporate Vice President Marketing International. It is 5 years that Mara lives dividing her time between her work in Germany and her husband and children left in Italy, an experience that she will treasure years later and especially in the role she holds today as head of Diversity&Inclusion policies for Henkel Global. In 2019, the return to Italy, leading Henkel’s Laundry Home Care division in the position of General Manager and currently serving as President and CEO of Henkel Italy, as well as General Manager Henkel Consumer Brands. In 2021 she was cited by Forbes as one of the 100 most successful Italian women. |

Irene Rizzoli, born in Parma on December 2, 1973, represents the fourth generation of conserving entrepreneurs in the family business, Delicius Rizzoli SpA. After obtaining a degree in Economics and Commerce in 1997 from the University of Parma, she assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer, contributing to management control, operational planning, and marketing oversight. In 2020, she took on the role of sustainability delegate on the Board of Directors. In 2021, Irene published Delicius’ first sustainability report. In July 2023, the company became a Benefit corporation. In addition to her corporate role, Irene is a member of various institutions, including Boards of Directors and Advisory Committees. Author of “Alice or Anchovy?” in 2015, Irene devotes part of her commitment to higher education at the university level. With a degree in economics and business administration from Bocconi University in Milan, Lucia Tagliaferri, after a brief experience at the commercial section of the American Consulate in Milan and a Master’s degree in Direct Marketing, began her career at the Swedish multinational Essity, a global leader in the hygiene and health sectors, known to the general public through brands such as Tempo, Tena, Nuvenia and Demak’Up. Lucia’s career has spanned some 30 years within this company and has always had sustainability as an integral part of its DNA and its business strategies. After her beginnings in marketing for Italy, she took on various positions, from logistics to business development, and then returned to marketing with responsibility for the brand TENA for Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. She moved to Sweden for 4 years, where she got global responsibility for the brand TENA. In 2017, she held the position of commercial director for the Consumer Goods Italy division and from 2022 began a new professional adventure as Vice President of Marketing and E-Commerce for Europe, in Essity’s Consumer Goods division. |

Currently, Maniele Tasca has held the position of general manager at SELEX Gruppo Commerciale S.p.A. since 2009. Maniele Tasca’s academic background includes a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University. His career path began between 1994 and 2003, in the consumer goods and retail sector at the Bolton Group and the strategic consulting firms Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company. In the following years, from 2004 to 2008, he joined the Alpitour Group. He initially held the position of Marketing Director and later rose to the position of Managing Director of the Retail Division. In addition to his executive roles, Maniele Tasca has assumed important leadership responsibilities. He currently serves as Managing Director of the Board of Directors of ESD Italia and Board Member of the European Central EMD. He also holds advisory positions as a member of Inselex and serves as Attorney General of the Italian A&O Consortium. He is vice president of Gs1 Italia. As a representative of Selex, he actively participates in the Boards of Directors of ADM and Federdistribuzione. |

Marco Travaglia was born in Milan on 27 December 1964. He is married and the father of two daughters. Marco Travaglia has been President and CEO of Nestlé Italy SpA, since October 1st 2019 and an active member in several industry boards (UPA, Auditel, Centromarca). Having earned a degree in Law from the Catholic University of Milan, Marco joined the Nestlé Group in 1990, taking on increasing responsibilities in Marketing and Sales in various countries (Italy, Switzerland, USA, France, UK), focusing mainly on the Petcare sector. Before his current appointment, Marco covered in succession the position of Business Executive Manager of the Food and Beverages Division of Nestlé Italiana, CEO of Nestle Adriatics, based in Zagreb, and, lately, Regional Director Nestlé Purina Petcare, responsible for Southern Europe and MENA. A diehard AC Milan fan and dedicated pet lover, Marco Travaglia is also an accomplished guitarist with a passion for music. |
