It’s no surprise COVID drove us to drink, but our capacity for invention might surprise you. During the pandemic, we found a way to sneak alcohol into just about every one of our favorite drinks. While Alcohol as a category grew 20.9%, “hard” drinks contributed 21.8% to category growth. Hard seltzers dominated spiked drink sales during COVID, followed by old favorites like hard lemonade and hard cider, but what else did we find to spike?
