The GLP-1 Ripple Effect

GLP-1 usage in Great Britain isn’t just impacting individual behaviour and obvious product categories: it’s rippling through household habits, categories, and the wider market.

During this webinar, our experts explore the wider implications of GLP-1 usage:

  • Beyond the individual: In households with a GLP-1 user, 3 ouf of 4 are the primary or joint shopper, and their choices influence the whole home. Nearly half (47%) say GLP-1 has had a moderate to very large impact on the eating habits of other household members.
  • Beyond the obvious: Some changes, such as shifts away from carbonated drinks and snacking, may be expected. However, GLP-1 usage is having an impact on less obvious categories, revealing new and unexpected opportunities and threats for brands.
  • Beyond this phase: 26% of households with no current GLP-1 user say they would consider using them in the future, and we’ll explore lessons from other markets to see what it can teach us about future phases of GLP-1.

This webinar will help you look beyond the immediate effects of GLP-1 and understand how its ripple effect could reshape consumer demand in the future.
