Revenue Growth in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)
The fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) market saw a revenue increase of 0.8% compared to the third quarter of 2023. This growth was primarily driven by slight price increases rather than higher sales volumes. Throughout the year, this trend has closely followed the inflation rate.
Tech & Durables: Decline Slows Over the Year
Overall, the Tech & Durables sector recorded a revenue decline of 2.1% compared to the third quarter of 2023. Notably, the DIY and home improvement market saw a revenue loss of 5.9%, while technical consumer goods experienced a 4.8% decline. In contrast, home appliances showed slight growth, with a 0.3% increase in revenue.
