Employee resource groups
Our nine employee resource groups are active in 83 countries where we operate, and over 2,500 of our associates are members. These groups help drive our culture while also providing real business impact.
Employee resource groups are also supported by 56 inclusion impact teams that help us localize our diversity and inclusion strategy to the unique needs of the markets where we operate.
For more on our global employee resource group strategy, check out this episode of The Conference Board Insights podcast featuring our Kym Graham, Director of Global Diversity & Inclusion, and Myriam Vidalon, Global Head of Diversity, Talent & Culture.

Home truth series
Candid conversations at work are essential to an inclusive environment where everyone’s voice is welcomed and valued. That’s why we created the home truth series, which brings together associates for panel discussions where stories are shared and common bonds are created across borders. We bring together associates from each of the affinities represented by our employee resource groups and beyond.

Inclusion design labs
Our talented associates solve complex problems for our clients everyday. We created the inclusion design lab to leverage those skills and capabilities to help solve problems in our communities that NielsenIQ is uniquely positioned to solve.
Inclusion lab teams are made of up two-to-five members and follow a specific design thinking process.
Projects undertaken to-date have included developing solutions for racial inequity in access to healthy foods in the United States.
Affinity month celebrations
We see every month as an opportunity to celebrate the cultures, identities, and backgrounds of the world we measure and represent in our ranks. In addition to honoring all the commonly known months like Black History Month and Pride Month, we designate months without another designation for our employee resource groups like N-Gen and Mosaic.
In addition to these months, we also put together full celebration and education programs around key dates like International Women’s Day and National Coming Out Day.
