Country comparisons for ‘Cloud storage’
Many technology companies are offering services that enhance the cloud experience – whether it is increased security or customizable services, such as digital photograph albums which can easily be shared with friends or family.
But are consumers actually interested in the cloud for their personal use?
We asked over 26,000 internet users, aged 15 or older, in 22 countries how strongly they agree – or disagree – with the statement “it is essential for me to access or store my photos, documents, music and other content in ‘the cloud’ (with ‘the cloud’ defined as “a secure Internet location that you can access from any location or device”).
- Overall, nearly a third strongly agree that cloud storage is essential
- Latin American countries have highest numbers strongly agreeing
- Germany, Canada and Australia not convinced
