Richard Boyko has joined GfK as their Country Lead for Consumer Insights and Marketing Effectiveness in Belgium. Boyko combines expertise in mathematics and statistics with a proven track record in market research, both at client and agency side, having worked at Procter & Gamble for 20 years and Ipsos for five years.
The two GfK research divisions that Boyko will be leading in Belgium are a complementary mix:
The Customer Insight team helps clients be successful through building understanding of consumer trends, needs and environment. And the Marketing Effectiveness team continues that success when clients are in-market, by providing insights on the efficacy and impact of their various marketing activities, and helping identify areas for focus. Layered on top of these, GfK offers a strong analytical service through their Global Data Science group.
Speaking about why he joined GfK, Boyko states, “The satisfaction and excitement that comes from helping clients be successful is second to none. I have witnessed firsthand the power of analytics to help businesses gain a leading edge position in the marketplace – and that is what GfK delivers. Strong strategic research skills coupled with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities our clients face, mean that GfK provides high quality strategic advice and guidance to some of the world’s leading brands.”
Wim Boesmans, GfK’s Commercial Director for Belgium, adds, “Richard will be a huge asset in driving GfK’s strong vision. His energy and passion for executing with excellence within a strong operational discipline is perfectly matched to the quality, breadth and impact of our client offering. He will be instrumental in deepening our client relationships and delivering solutions to their key business questions.”
