Chris Hughes serves as NIQ’s Chief Strategy Officer, leading Strategy and Corporate Development with responsibility for mergers and acquisitions, global partnerships, and key growth initiatives. Since joining NIQ in October 2025, Chris has played a central role in sharpening the company’s strategic direction, leading multiple acquisitions while ensuring strong alignment between long‑term strategy, execution, and operational priorities.
Chris is a member of NIQ’s Executive Leadership Team and reports directly to Jim Peck, NIQ’s CEO and Executive Chairman.
He brings nearly 20 years of experience across leadership, advisory, and investor roles. Prior to NIQ, Chris held led Strategy and Corporate Development at Medifast (NYSE: MED) and Interactions (NASDAQ: SOUN). Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at Boston Consulting Group, advising global organizations on growth and transformation, and an investor at Revolution, where he worked with the founders of AOL to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in high‑growth consumer and technology companies.
Chris holds a degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is based in Washington, DC.
