Lange will help retailers maximize profit in hot categories like grain-free, raw, and limited-ingredient diets
At next week’s SuperZoo conference in Las Vegas, GfK is set to share the latest pet specialty sales trends with retailers and manufacturers and provide ways to optimize profit with some of today’s hottest pet food categories.
In her August 1st presentation, GfK’s Maria Lange (Business Group Director, Pet Care) will leverage data from the company’s unmatched point-of- sale (POS) panel representing over 11,000 pet specialty retail outlets in the US. Her session, “Shelf Stars 2016: Rolling Out the Red Carpet for Retail Success,” will focus on
• identifying and analyzing the latest pet specialty retail trends,
• showing which products and categories will help increase profits in 2016, and
• using key performance metrics to evaluate current and future success of key segments and categories.
Lange will also explore the growing importance of raw pet food alternatives, seasonal treats, and limited ingredient items. She will be speaking from 4 to 5PM in Islander Ballroom B at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
At GfK, Lange works with major pet industry clients, including leading manufacturers and retailers, to help them stay a step ahead of changes in the marketplace. She is an expert at detecting trends in GfK’s unmatched purchase database, revealing opportunities at the product, category and regional levels.
SuperZoo draws thousands of pet industry retailers, product suppliers, service providers, marketers and researchers. The show is produced by the World Pet Association (WPA) and will take place from August 1st to 4th. The conference at SuperZoo covers four main topic areas: retail, grooming, service industry, and animal wellness.
