CHICAGO (Feb. 3, 2025) – NielsenIQ (NIQ), a global leader in consumer intelligence, proudly announces the return of its annual NIQ Founders Pitch Slam, a high-stakes competition designed to spotlight and support the next generation of emerging consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands.
Now in its third year, the NIQ Founders Pitch Slam challenges visionary entrepreneurs to pitch their brands to an esteemed panel of industry leaders and business experts. The competition not only provides a platform for exposure but also offers game-changing resources to help startups scale.
Five finalists will take the stage at NIQ’s C360 Conference in Hollywood, Florida, competing for a grand prize valued at over $700,000 in cash and in-kind services. Winners will gain access to NIQ’s powerful suite of data solutions, including:

Since its inception in 2022, the NIQ Founders Pitch Slam has awarded more than $1 million in prizes to help emerging brands gain the insights and visibility needed to succeed in today’s competitive market. NIQ remains committed to empowering emerging brands with the tools and expertise that fuel smarter business decisions and long-term success.
Eligibility for the competition requires brands to have total annual U.S. retail dollar sales not to exceed $20,000,000 in 2024 across one or more qualifying CPG departments, validated by NIQ Omnisales databases for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024. Qualifying departments include alcohol, baby care, bakery, beverage, bulk bin, dairy, deli, floral, frozen, general merchandise, grocery, beauty, household, meat, pet, produce, seafood, or nutritional supplements. Products must currently be available for sale in the U.S. This opportunity is open to all CPG brands meeting these qualifications and does not necessitate a prior relationship with NIQ.
